This week we are blessed with a very interesting piece of write up that dares the fight of youthful days. the inspiring piece was written by Caleb k. Onuoha. well this piece is better read and understood on a personal slate as it is self-expressing with its choice of words. Read On.
DON'T DARE TO STOP ME.
Through unflinching spirit and determination,
we can
stand for the truth and become reformers.
Stand
must be taken for our generation and nation.
For
so long, we’ve embraced the status quo,
keeping
up with tradition. Now, I am determined to be a
transformer and not a conformer. This will cost
taking extraordinary measures. Even want of
time and skill won’t stop me. I won’t give up
until the fight is won.
Don’t dare to stop me!
What I met as a status quo was a deformation
to
nature - deformation taken for a reformation. I
was told “in the beginning it was so.” Little
wonder we experience no upgrade, no change,
no
transformation, everyone sits in his or her
comfort zone, very complacent, and adapt to
the
modus operandi of what they met. Why won’t
we,
when we think, “We can do little or nothing
about it.” We assume that the pursuit of revival
is futile and when we’ve gone, the revival would
not
be sustained.
For me, I am perturbed by this
cold state of affairs and my discomfort is
getting unbearable. I am out against the
majority that opposes change! I am out to walk
on impossible places to pave way for posterity.
I
am out to take the “If I perish, I perish” route.
The last time I checked the one who took that
track never perished.
Don’t dare to stop me!
There is a next level. There is a higher ground.
Places yet to be discovered that would turn the
world around; heights meant to be a platform
for
great men yet to be climed. The question is who
will do this first? Why should fear grip this
generation? Who gave impossibility the
effrontery to overshadow? Making deformation
to be at a default state.
Someone needs to go
mad. Yes, mad because that is what it is being
termed in the world of insane people who think
they are sane. I was told that MAD is
an acronym for Making a Difference. It is only
a
mad man that will break protocol! It is only a
mad man that will defile status quo! It is only a
mad man that can walk through the fire and
stop its power to burn. Only mad men see a
mirage and facade of danger but dare to move
ahead. It is only a mad man that will do all it
takes before the last whistle is blown to score a
goal. We need mad men
and women. I don’t know about you but I am
out
to be one.
Don’t dare to stop me.
