7 Inspiring Lessons From The Movie "3 Idiots"

The Indian Movie "3 Idiots" has over the years been a source of inspiration to me. it's about three friends who met in an Engineering college. their names were Rancho,Farhan and Raju Rastogi. for Rancho, studying Engineering at the Imperial College of Engineering was a dream come true and a process crucial for the acquisition of knowledge with excellence while Farhan was just there because his father desired him to be an Engineer. as for Raju, being in school was necessary for him to be able to solve his family's challenges. his father was sick, mum retired and earning a little while his sister couldn't get married because they can't afford a car as the required dowry. all these were the objectives of these three young men. the school environment was a ground filled with so many experiences they could never forget as it was a survival of the fittest in academics. failure in the race of academic survival encouraged the likes of Joy Lobo to commit suicide after failing to satisfy the demands of the college director Professor Virus as popularly called by students behind his back. he was known for screwing students everyday of his career.

Rancho was never scared as his confidence and love for what he study kept his zeal for studies high. he would always encourage his dear friends Raju and Farhan to calm down and ease the pressure in school by being confident that they can win every race. his antidote for pressure was reciting repeatedly "All is Well". Raju never believed his theories until it saved his dad and helped him see life as it is and also got him a job irrespective of his poor grades in school. Rancho also found love as he came much closer to the college director's daughter Pia. severally before falling in love with her, he would use different illustrations as demos to show her some positive concept about life. well this is just a short review of the movie. i was able to pick some real cool inspiring lessons and i have decided to share them with you.

1. Be Innovative:

Rancho at one time used the knowledge of grade 8 physics about salt water being a good conductor of electricity to scare a bully in the dormitory away form his door step. when Mona the director's first daughter was in labour during a heavy rainfall, he device a means of power supply with car batteries and innovated a vacuum tube and got the baby delivered. he was so innovative that his mates saw him as a guru. the most inspiring of these all is that his works at all times serves as a solution to people's problems. so why cant you just like Rancho start becoming innovative with whatsoever it is you know in life. you never can tell the problem it will solve.

2. Take Life Easy:

Raju due to the family challenges he faced, wanted to give up on life but Rancho was always there with his funny but encouraging theories to help him see life as a good thing.this shows that life is not a trouble-free phenomena but a sweet race which requires living free with no heavy heart in order to enjoy the wonders hidden within it. at the later end of this movie, Raju and Farhan saw what kept Rancho cheerful all the way while they were in school. it was simply a theory for living. "pursue excellence and success will follow you pants down". funny right? life is simple when we take it easy.

3. Dream Big About The Future:

While they were in school, there was this other guy named Chatur a.k.a Silencer. he was known for cramming books without even understanding what it meant. all he cared about was being first and ahead of everyone in the class but at a long run lacked vision about the future while Rancho had a plan for his future. the same Chatur who wanted to be ahead without vision ended up depending on Rancho for a great project that would make him successful in life. it is always good to have a master plan for your future as that will help you live positively inclined to being great because you'll be busy building yourself up with knowledge that is crucial for the actualization of your dreams. Dream Big.

4. Never Forsake Friends:

These three in the movie never forsook each other. they were always there for each other. at one certain point, Raju attempted suicide because he couldn't betray his friends. that depicts true love for friends. they treated each other with respect. despite the fact that some times they quarrel, they still make up and move on fighting their challenges together. how well do you love your friends? it is necessary we live each day being a good friend to some one because that alone, could be an open door for someone's growth in life.

5. Never Let School Pressure Decide For You:

School was always known for mounting pressure on students in their time. but Rancho never payed any attention to the pressure school mounts on students because he knew he had to make the decisions about his life and not the school. this helped him to leave a good record in the school because he decided to make his way through the school and not the other way round. his courage kept him strong. it is crucial you make decisions without allowing circumstances to lead you. circumstances will come and go but the decisions you make will always leave an unforgettable impact on your life. be courageous.
