FAMILY TALKS: The Nigerian Daddy
I know you are wondering what kind of topic is this am talking about . don't worry come along as we launch into exploring the Nigerian Daddy's world on this day.
The Nigerian daddy is a pronoun i will love to use to represent the father of the house in our country's context. we'll be evaluating his frequent thoughts, plans for himself and his home on a general view. even though daddies vary in their way of life, there is this similarities that are common with our Nigerian fathers.Nigerian daddy is a man who has a wife and kid(s) maybe little or grown. everyday he calculates his worth, how he's going to spend his money,on what, who and for himself or the family.
As argumentative as it may sound, in our country today your father either thinks of his family or himself. although many daddies try to combine the two but the truth is, it has always been rough and tough for them.
Lets analyze the Nigerian daddy that thinks of himself alone without a second thought about his home. i guess you are already imagining someone in your neighborhood. this type of daddy is very common in our settings today. this type could be tagged selfish, greedy, foolish, devilish and lots more by people around but the truth is he's somehow a reflection of some portions of our hearts. the only difference is that he heads a home which he should be responsible for.

On another dimension of fatherhood lets check out the daddy that thinks of or rather puts his home first. this dad always think less of himself on several occasions and considers what his home needs, how to go about it and lots more. most people would call him 'the best dad in the world'. but come to think of it. are there any difference and similarities between these two types of dads?
But what of the two-way dad who tries combining selfishness and selflessness in one lifestyle? this dad is the type that is always in a dilemma of confusion. most times he's not happy cause he seems not to achieve anything on both sides of himself and the family.
So finally i ask this question. Among these daddies which is the happiest and best for Nigerian Homes?
